We usually ask you to visit us for 2 successive days. Please make an appointment by telephone 0977-21-2151. If you have difficulty in speaking Japanese, please tell the clerk "English please".
Why do we ask you to come for two successive days?
In the first day, interview, physical examination, blood and urine test for biochemistry and thyroid related hormones, X-ray, electro-cardiogram, ultrasound echogram, fine needle aspiration cytology, scintigram, depending on the necessity, are carried out for you. In the next morning, based on the test results, our doctor tells you the diagnosis and discusses the treatment with you. For some patients, the treatment starts in the first day. For some other patients, further examinations are required.
If you want to stay in our hospital for examination or for immediate treatment, please consult with our doctor.
If you can not visit us for 2 successive days, please consult with our clerk by telephone 0977-21-2151.
For one week prior to your examination, please refrain from sea food and DASHI extracted from sea food. Thyroid function test is interrupted by the iodine in the sea food.
In the morning of your first visit, please take no food except water. Blood should be taken for the laboratory analysis when you are hungry. If you feel sick on fasting, or if you must take every meal because of any disease, such as diabetes, please take your breakfast as usual, and tell our nurse that you took breakfast in your interview.
If you take any medicine regularly, please bring your medicine and show it to our nurse.
If you have a referral letter, please pass it to our receptionist.
Please be sure you have your medical insurance card with you.
Note: The entrance is closed from 20:00 to 7:00 except for emergencies. The parking area is closed from 20:00 to 6:30.
Please call us between 8:00 and 17:00 on Monday through Friday, or between 8:00 and noon on Saturday with your ID card of Noguchi Thyroid Clinic and Hospital Foundation.
Please have your medical insurance card with you on your every visit to us.
